The Vanadzor Art School employs more than 40 highly qualified teachers who pass on their passion, love and thorough knowledge of music to their students. Students often compete and win accolades at local, regional and national competitions.

Classes in dance, musical literature and theory, classical musical instruments and folk musical instruments are offered at the School.

Musical instruments--The School currently possesses the following classical musical instruments: 7 grand pianos, 23 upright pianos and 10 violins

Folk Musical instruments—The School currently possesses the following folk musical instruments: 7 shvi (a type of flute), 8 duduk (a classical double reed Armenian instrument made from apricot wood), 10 Kanon (a type of lap harp), 2 oud (a stringed instrument), 6 tar (a stringed instrument), 3 kamancha (a stringed instrument played with a bow), 2 dhol (a simple drum).
